1st BlueMissionMed Stakeholder Forum
The 1st BlueMissionMed Stakeholder Forum organised by the EU funded project BlueMissionMed will take place on May 30, 2023, from 09:00 to 13:00 at Palazzo dei Normanni in Palermo, Italy.
It is a satellite event of the high-level event EU Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030’ – The Mediterranean lighthouse in action Palermo (30-31 May 2023), organised by the European Commission in close cooperation with the Italian government, the Sicily Region and the University of Palermo.
During the event, key actors representing different categories of stakeholders will be engaged in a discussion to shape the future for a Healthy, Pollution free Mediterranean Sea, contributing to meet the EU Mission Ocean and Waters objectives. Every participant is expected to contribute to the discussion and implementation of the BlueMissionMed roadmap to achieve the Mission objectives according to stakeholders’ interests and needs.
The outcomes of the 1st BlueMissionMed Stakeholder Forum will be presented at the opening of the high-level event organized by the European Commission on the afternoon of May 30, which represents a unique opportunity for stakeholders to share their good practices and to witness the political commitments of the Mediterranean countries towards the Mission.
The event will be held in hybrid mode. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required at the link below.
